BURGER KING SINGAPORE

The fast food chain is amping up its support for Baybeats 2018, Singapore's largest free alternative music festival presented by Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, by letting music fans enjoy a range of high-quality great-tasting offerings.

From today till Sunday, food and beverages by Burger King ($8 to $10) will be on sale at the Gazebo located within the festival grounds at the Esplanade.

Fans also stand to win special backstage passes and exclusive festival merchandise on Burger King Singapore's Facebook page.

GENKI SUSHI

The value-for-money sushi chain opens its sixth outlet in Singapore at Junction 8 shopping mall today, with an updated menu featuring new additions to its signature collection.

Look out for the Dai Man Zoku Vol. 2 (renowned for being approximately one-and-a-half times larger than a normal sushi), which includes the jumbo crabstick mentaiyaki and jumbo ebi fry.

To celebrate the opening, Genki Sushi will be giving out 100 sets of five-piece sushi today at Junction 8 #01-22/30 from 11am to 11.30am.

SCIENCE CENTRE SINGAPORE

The local scientific institution is organising a special talk session for students and parents on the fear of exams, as well as sharing tips and tricks on how to overcome pre-exam jitters, on Tuesday at 3pm.

In Conversation With - Anxiety@School: Our Children and Their Fears features two distinguished speakers - Associate Professor Lim Tit Meng, the chief executive of Science Centre Singapore, and Ms Carine Liew, senior clinical psychologist from the Child Guidance Clinic (Sunrise).

Admission is free, but general admission to Science Centre Singapore applies.

7-ELEVEN

The convenience store is giving away 10,000 cups of hot coffee on Aug 20 starting from 7am to celebrate the expansion of its rebranded in-store coffee brand 7Café, previously known as 7-Cuppa, to 200 stores. Each cup (from $1.50) is freshly brewed using quality 100 per cent Arabica beans from Latin America.

Simply follow 7-Eleven Singapore on Facebook page and flash the "Free Coffee" post that was posted yesterday. Each customer is limited to one cup of either Long Black, Latte, Cappuccino, Mocha or Hot Chocolate and the giveaway is redeemable at every 7-Eleven store which carries 7Cafe.

7Cafe is also introducing Iced Long Coffee and nearly all the 200 stores will have the full hot and cold coffee menu by next month.
